Outdoor skateboard area on the south terrace of Sapporo Dome (Premist Dome), opened in May 2023. The roughly 1,600 m² layout features a long pump-style flow line (about 60 m), manual pads, rails, boxes, and kickers suited to flow and street fundamentals. Use is free during the summer season (approximately May through October); the area closes in winter and when surfaces are wet. Skateboards, BMX, and mountain bikes are allowed in the main zone under posted rules; some other rolling devices are restricted by section. No on-site equipment rental.

History

Developed to meet demand for accessible skate space in Sapporo, the facility is operated as part of the dome complex with clear safety rules — including mandatory helmets for elementary-school-age users and younger — and carry-in, carry-out rubbish policies.
