Municipal concrete skatepark completed in 2022 beside Kuriyama Station South Park in Kuriyama Town (Yubari District) — the district's first public skate facility. About 600 m² of smooth, blue-tinted concrete with roughly eleven sections including flat banks, bank-to-banks, quarter pipes, manual pads, boxes, rails, and a small mini ramp. Free to use from late April to early November, until 8:00 PM (6:00 PM if only junior-high and younger users). Riders must sign a user register; helmets and pads are strongly recommended.
History
Developed as a flagship outdoor sports addition for the Yubari district, the park is designed for beginners through advanced skaters and also allows surf-skate, longboards, plastic-pegged BMX, inline skates, and kick bikes under posted rules.
